Competition???

Not trying to be sarcastic about me having went through a recent competition and felt that there were no competition at all. Well. Won 1st at the competition though. Haha!!! Won a 200 bucks and a damn big trophy with no relation to marine or maritime at all. Just some angel body at the top of the trophy. Looks like i won a beauty pageant.

Thankfully we won first. a big thank you to chang yang. See... He pressed the buzzer when we were supposed to fight to answer the question so quickly that the emcee had only read the no of the question. Whoa. And we won. Well... wayne's group didn't win though. But each of them went back with 50 bucks.

Felt pressured that we could not win when we saw our nearest rivals, 2 teams from jurong sec mugging near the staircase when we were having fun and listening to our mp3s there. had fun and didn't really study. Wanted to but in the end ended up having fun.

200 bucks!!! What should I do?

Last Day of Hol@ home

Hol... Kol... Lol...

Yesterday's match was quite crazy. Imagine lukas podolski winning the game for germany with 2 goals. Crap. In the first game of the World Cup. It seems as though he cannot even shoot the ball accurately. look at this though.

4 goals salvo!

Viva la Podolski!
Even now i want to be a Prinz.
Ich Bin Ein Prinz!!!

Handing-over and ITC Camp

Finally. the handover is here. i never felt like that before. Well made fun of the BOA AGAIN... And of course the lame jokes to everyone there. Like for example, when the sec 3s said ' Sec 4s, you may now take your seat', i went to my seat and took it away. Really lame. Everyone there were like staring at me. Wordplay.

Handover was a great thing. And well, i got 2 certs. 1 from the IT Club for my contributions, and the 2nd from the BOA for the BOA Award. Whoa! And and, the BOA EXTENDED their invitations to the sec 4s to join the BOA. After discussing with the sec 4s, we sorta decided on that none of us would apply for it. Till when no one applies, then they will just put us into the BOA without the INTERVIEW.(which crazily lasts for 1 hour) haha. The chairman's SPECIAL APPROVAL.

Looking at what i written so far. it doesn't seem as though i have not slept at night. I am still so energetic. Tell u my NIGHT PLANS in the wee wee hours of the morning. Went out to MAc's for dinner. Came back and watched the horror movie, then went on to the nite walk and joined just for the fun of it. Till then it was like 3 plus am. Then at bout 3.30am, went to east coast MAc to watch the england match. After that came back with 2 other VS teachers and reached school bout 5am. Then played soccer for 2 hours nonstop.Crazy. Then went back to school at 8am.

And now. Just finished playing bball with bryan. Well, i wasn't good in bball and obviously got TRASHED when i teamed with bryan against some 2 other guys. Not bad for me though. I managed to shoot in 1 ball out of the 2 points we scored. I guess that i just aren't good in bball. The defending was like crap.

And now just slacking here. HOw i wish i could put the pictures of the scene at MAc's and the scene at the handover when people were dunked into the school pond. They practically went swimming.

I can still remember the horror movie. Not much of ghosts or supernatural though. But it was full of sadistic killings and mutilation. Arghhhh! Sick! Sadist! And during the nite walk, i actually freaked out when i went up the from 'light to dark' staircase which leads all the way up the 5th floor. Not that scary the scene was. But itwas scary and freaky from the sounds i hear. There were sounds of laughter which i felt was coming from the 5th floor, which is practically locked.

Back to the books. Gotta remember that i have 3 science tests when i return to school...

The Afters

Went to Jeremi's blog. Saw the link he posted bout the band called 'The Afters'. Really a great band. Just wanted to share.

And i think this news might be a little too late. Well. the Argentina match against serb and mon was great. Goals-fest. Woohhooo. I gave up the course for NCDCC as a Lieutenant or something like that. Just wanted to have more time to myself for studying in post-secondary years and to get more opportunities elsewhere.

Handover for IT Club on tues.Finally. Well i think the sec 4 batch did a perfect job. Really! We did a perfect job. The NEWDC was a great success. Everything was great. Even for the new section of IT Club... The E-learning website. Happy to know that the Juniors are working on the 2nd version.

My mom told me yesterday night bout the expectations that she has for me academically. Well i think i have been lackadaisical in my learning. And guess what! I managed to read correctly my mother's thoughts and her eye expressions when she passed me the phone. Able to read minds not that bad eh. Well... for me it's good.

P.S. = Welcome back thosaPORN!!!

Gravity

The gravity that pulls us down cannot be held responsible for the love between people. These words were said by the great Albert Einstein. Well. I believe in it too. Maybe the lure and affection for science and logic has made me forgo the one which i chose not to believe. Religion. Plainly religion. Well, for me, love is to be achieved and not to be waited upon, for 'Destiny is a matter of choice, not chance'.

And to add on to the quotes here... 'Dreams first seems to us as impossible, then improbable, then inevitable.' Dreams do come true. But does this means to wait for the dreams to come true. For an impossible dream can be realised given it's fair share of 'time'. These were the very words by Christopher Reeve.

I finished 5 and a half books of The Chronicles of Narnia. Really madness. Finishing these amount of books in less than 4 days. Maybe 3. Or even 2. Regardless, really learned a lot from the book. Learnt a new writing style(not that I want to be a writer), Learnt many more words of wisdom from the book. 'A man who has erred is nothing but a better man'.(I don't know if I am not wrong)

Haha... A more serious note from the ever fun-loving JJ. Now for the fun-loving part.

I have 150 contacts in MSN. And the lucky no. 150 is mel. HOpefully will break the 200 mark. By then... I will tell u the next lucky person.

Got a new phone. Well i think it comes with the expectations of my parents wanting me to study, getting better results. Well. I can read minds and eye language. not a wonder that i can understand people through their eyes and their thinking. Must study harder. Get better results. Maybe a 6 for O levels. HEHe haaaaah!

jokefully joking.

I feel so high and refreshed.Just finished reading the first 4 books of the chronicles of Narnia. Crazy reading I am into. Must finish the books or else I will not have the mood to study.Haiz. Phone spoiled. Cannot turn on.Still remember Bryan sent me a msg asking me if I had logged off from msn. Just wanted to reply when... When... the phone just broke down. *Sob! For those of you out there with my HP no... Dun worry. i have a backup phone. So can still call me.

Listened to alot of songs. a lot of songs. Songs that can blow your mind and stuff like that...

Luckily didn't watch World Cup yesterday night. The matches like all crapped up. All the goals, or most of the goals all like in the ending minutes of the game. Crazy! Total Boredom. Cynical games. Enjoyed the spain match though. Villa was the man. Still wondering why he didn't get the man of the match title. Well... I guess a playmaker always have an advantage to the man of the match title as compared to strikers.

Msn: Mel added me. Added her back lah.
Friendster: I added mel. She added me back lah.

Chatted with mel and bryan yesterday night.Whoa. Didn't know that the name of mel's blog also originated from a highly inspiring book. (By Meg Cabot). Showed her the Howie day's Collide. Nice song. Whoa agains.

Joke of the day
Two atoms are talking:

"Help, somebody has stolen one of my electrons!"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm positive!"

Blogfully correct

As requested by the one and only TSP... The post bout blogfully correct.
This is what I hope to see in modern dictionaries.

Blogfully Correct/Incorrect - Noun
A term used to represent a group of words representing the writer's opinion on a certain issue. This group of words do not represent the opinions of various forms of mass media ex.(Newspaper).
This group of words can also be used on basis on allowing only certain words of required understanding and representation, to be posted on blogs to maintain the use of proper language written by the bloggers.
Blogfully correct can also be termed as ex.(politically correct, morally correct, etc.)

Good eh... Good def for the people out there reading.

I got a weird invite from hozefa asking me if i wanna go for the NCDCC course. Something like the CLT for NCC. The same thingy only for different CCAs. Haiz. How am I to know whether I want to go for it or not. I am also quite unsure about the things required of me there. I will also have to give some of my time next year for service to the corp. Should I go or not. Maybe I should. Maybe I should not.

I feel i should just see how it goes.

Now back to hitting the books and watching the world cup. Ouch!!! My hand hurts.

Almost nearing the end

Feelin like it's almost the end of June. Well it is GOIN to be though. Maths HW still like piling. It seems like it cannot be finished. Maybe I should skip the HW and go on to REAL studying. Maybe. Just Maybe

Left with 1 more day of classes. Dun really feel like going to classes. Not when in the class I cannot do my own studying. I want to just study the subs that i am weak in and not spend more time on subs that I am good in. At least today Mdm Ernie let me do my Maths HW. That better from the other classes I attended.

Logged into friendster for the first time in like 3 months. Never entered friendster since. Haiz. Added photos and deleted photos.. The usual. What else can u do in friendster.

Went back to tuition after a short break. Feels different though. Not the rest but me only. Just feel different. Really different. Was still thinking whether should I cycle in the drizzle yesterday. Well... in the end i did cycle.

U know... I was just thinking that day. When things in their stride of life have words like 'politically correct' or 'morally correct' and stuff like that. Then blogs should have stuffs like 'Blogfully Correct!' and 'Blogfully Incorrect'. That just makes the blogosphere a little more international.
