bus 15

i took bus 15 home today. a few reasons. see below.
1) I wanted to 'accidentally' bump into someone else.
2) I wanted to check if the frequency of bus 15 is very very fast.
3) I wanted to see how long it took for me to go home.
4) I wanted to do item no 1. really. really.

I waited at the bus stop. a bus 15 came. and i didnt take it. hoping that i would still bump into that person i want to 'accidentally' bump into. After some waiting, about 15 mins later, another bus 15 came. Well, i seriously didnt feel like taking it again. But after a split second thought, i took it. i boarded the bus, and item number 1 didnt seem like it would be fulfilled. and it didnt. at least item no 2 and 3 got fulfilled.

then came the weird thing. apparently weird things seem to happen only to me.

I was at this particular stop, where it seemed to be flooded with secondary school kids. in my mind, it was like, 'argh!'. sometimes, it would take a lot of mental strength to bear a bus load of secondary school kids. especially their noise. but surprisingly, not many boarded the bus. only about a handful boarded the bus, making me feel more at ease. suddenly, a girl started to walk up in my direction. there was this tinge in her facial expression that she was eyeing the seat next to me.(cos i was sitting at the last row on the bus, with a seat to my right empty. i didnt move in to sit inside because it was wet.) there was an empty seat in front of me. with a guy sitting on the inside. seeing that it was impossible to traverse past me, she sat in that seat. since the seat on my left was also occupied by a guy.

after the guy on my left alighted, she looked back for a moment, then moved back and sat next to me. then i thought to myself, its not like a common move to suddenly move back to sit next to me when you are already seated happily and nicely in front of me. the question is, why would she suddenly come and sit next to me when she already seated down nicely in front of me???

okay. i'm not being ego or something. but this thing really happened. and both of us also stopped at the same stop. weirdly true. both of us still walked for some distance together via the same route.

truly weird. weirdly true.

technician

A landlord one day discovered that his airconditioning system was not working well. He called for a technician.

Soon enough, the technician came with his tools. He started his work by first taking out a spanner and started knocking on the cooling pipes. After knocking for about 5 minutes, he stopped knocking and started to loosen a nut and removed some residue. He replaced the nut and calls it a day.

The Air conditioner started to work normally again.

So the land lord said," That looks simple enough. How much do I owe you?"

The technician replied "$350."

Furious, the landlord argued, "$350 my foot! I saw you knocking about and adjusted only one nut and you're charging me $350?"

The technician said "Yes $350. $50 for knocking and adjusting. $300 for knowing where to knock and what to adjust!"

i got the urge to blog, cos i just watch a damn retro john mayer, with david labruyere on bass. sad that david la left mayer alr. he no longer mayer's bassist. just look at john mayer's hair! its freaking retro... its the room for squares hairstyle.
